Find answers to common questions about An Açaí Affair — Singapore's original açaí specialty café since 2016. Topics cover our menu, ingredients, dietary options, delivery, catering, wholesale and franchising.
Açaí (pronounced ah-sigh-ee) is a small, dark purple berry native to the Amazon Rainforest in South America. It contains 10 times more antioxidants than blueberries and is widely regarded as one of the world's most nutrient-dense superfoods.
At An Açaí Affair, we serve açaí as a frozen bowl — a thick, creamy blend of pure açaí pulp topped with fresh fruits, granola, nuts and superfoods. The texture is similar to ice cream or sorbet, but it is completely organic, vegan and far lower in sugar.
Unlike most açaí brands in Singapore, we do not dilute our açaí with guarana syrup, apple juice concentrate, or any artificial sweeteners. This means our bowls have the highest açaí concentration available in Singapore — giving you the full nutritional benefit of the berry in every bowl.
An Açaí Affair is not halal certified, but we are halal-friendly. Our kitchens do not handle pork, lard, or alcohol, and our açaí itself is halal certified. Muslim customers can enjoy our menu with confidence. For specific ingredient queries, contact us at hello@anacaiaffair.com.
An Açaí Affair was founded in 2016 as Singapore's first açaí specialty café and remains the largest açaí chain in Singapore,
As of 2026, An Açaí Affair operates 18 outlets across Singapore including 313 Somerset, Northpoint City, Waterway Point, Katong, and Jewel Changi. Beyond Singapore, we have a master franchise agreement signed in India, as well as a new outlet coming soon in Bali, Indonesia.
Most of our menu is vegan. All signature açaí bowls are vegan except the Greek Physique (contains yogurt). Our standard granola contains honey and is not vegan, but vegan granola is available for an extra $1. Drizzles that are not vegan: honey, pistachio sauce and chocolate hazelnut sauce. The chocolate whey protein smoothie add-on is also not vegan.
Most of our products are dairy-free. The exceptions are the Greek Physique açaí bowl, Here's My Abs smoothie, Yo-Go Girl smoothie, Nutty or Nice toast, pistachio sauce, chocolate hazelnut sauce and chocolate whey protein add-on. Everything else on our menu is completely dairy-free.
Most of our products are gluten-free. However, our kitchens handle various ingredients and we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contact with allergens. Customers with severe gluten intolerance or coeliac disease should exercise caution and inform our staff before ordering.
If you're aiming to keep your sugar or calorie intake as low as possible, we recommend opting for the DIY bowl and selecting just the açaí base, or a combination of açaí and our sugar-free chia pudding or yogurt. Top it with berries like blueberries and strawberries, and skip the drizzle for the cleanest, leanest option. If you do prefer to have a drizzle, the better choices would be honey (generally the lowest in calories), or our almond, peanut, or cashew butter - these are made from 100% nuts and blended without added sugar, salt, or preservatives.
Signature açaí bowls start from $7 for a small, $10.20 for a medium, and $15.80 for a large. Make Your Own bowls start from $7.50 for a small. Smoothies are $9.90 and toasts start from $8.90. All prices include GST.
Our bestsellers are the Triple A or Nutty Party – Triple A if you prefer more fruits, and Nutty Party if you prefer more crunch in your açaí bowl.

An açaí bowl is a thick, frozen blend of açaí pulp served in a bowl and topped with fresh fruits, granola, nuts and superfoods, eaten with a spoon. An açaí smoothie is a thinner, drinkable blend of açaí with other ingredients like banana, yogurt or coconut water.
At An Açaí Affair, our smoothies are a great option if you're on the go or prefer something lighter. Check our menu for the full smoothie selection.
Yes. Our Make Your Own bowl lets you build your own from scratch with unlimited bases, fruits, superfoods and one drizzle. For signature bowls, up to two modification requests are allowed. If you have multiple dietary preferences, we recommend the Make Your Own option for full flexibility.
Our superfood toppings include granola, almond flakes, pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs, chia seeds, coconut shavings and goji berries. All are available as toppings on both signature and Make Your Own bowls.
Açaí is nutrient-dense and high in antioxidants, fibre and healthy fats, which can support a balanced diet. At An Açaí Affair, our small signature bowls start from approximately 150–200 calories without a drizzle. For a lighter option, choose a smaller size, skip the drizzle or opt for honey, and choose fresh fruits over sorbet bases. Açaí bowls work well as a nutritious snack or light meal.
Yes, açaí bowls are a popular post-workout option in Singapore. Açaí is high in antioxidants which help reduce exercise-induced inflammation, while toppings like granola and nut butters provide carbohydrates and healthy fats for recovery. For a higher protein post-workout option, try our Here's My Abs smoothie with chocolate whey protein, or order the Greek Physique signature bowl.

For something lighter and less sweet, our nut butters — almond, peanut and cashew — are ground locally in small batches with no added salt, sugar or preservatives. Honey is the lowest calorie option. For something more indulgent, try the cookie butter and pistachio sauce.
It is recommended to eat the Açaí bowl within half an hour of purchasing it, before it melts.
However, if you would like to store your Açaí bowl overnight, you may request for us to separate the Açaí and all the other toppings in different cups. Store the Açaí in the freezer and the rest of the toppings in the fridge, and combine them when you're ready to eat!
Also,we would strongly recommend that you get a pint of Açaí instead and purchase the toppings separately, so you can assemble your own Açaí bowls anytime you wish!
Our Açaí and sorbet pints can be kept for up to 6 months in the freezer. Do not melt and refreeze our products to ensure product integrity.
Let our friendly staff know if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies so that we can make the appropriate recommendations.
Also, we would strongly recommend that you opt for the Make-Your-Own Açaí Bowls, where you can build your bowl from scratch with the toppings of your choice.
Disclaimer: Our kitchens handle various ingredients and the risk of cross-contact with allergens may exist. We cannot guarantee the absence of common allergens such as nuts and gluten.
